Traditional Teachings for Tomorrow’s Leaders is currently recruiting youth, ages 11-18 years, from the Saint Paul area to learn how to grow medicines and cook traditional foods. This is the first stepping stone in gaining leadership and work experience, as well as future entrepreneurship.
This is a two-pronged program:
1.Build it, Grow it, Eat it: weekly meetings that consist of gardening, cooking, and field trips to the Dream of Wild Health Farm.
2.Youth Advisory Council: participants will advise AIFC on its youth programs and select plant types and recipes for the program.
